Establishment of a better connection with higher self as a way to reduce karma

Karma Universal Law

Karma and dharma are terms always up for discussion when it comes to spirituality. Whatever we do, good or bad is registered in the book of life. And what happens sometimes is that our efforts towards something don’t bring us positive results. Furthermore, we are so immersed in this virtual reality that we can’t even notice that this is the spiritual world’s response. Just keep in mind the proverb, “What goes around, comes around.”

Our life on Earth and the situation we are in are not by chance. Life has a purpose for each and every one of us. And seeing that life is a continuation, as the soul reincarnates with a new opportunity to do things better, all we did in the past comes back to us. Believe it or not, the spiritual world also needs balance. So, you might ask, “Why is there so much poverty, wars, sadness and extremely opposite circumstances in the world?”

Astonishing as it seems, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Our actions will dictate our karma or dharma. For example, if you have more good actions than bad actions, you create dharma. Dharma is the result of your positive path in life – your choices, behavior and thoughts, along with compassion and unconditional love – which generates blessings and miracles. Concerning karma, it’s entirely opposite. Consider that your life is full of toxic and unpleasant choices, such as violence, crimes, selfishness, pride and corruption. All of these forms of misbehavior collaborate incredibly for a flow of harmful energy which will reach you back sooner or later. This can be in the form of downfall, obstacles and diseases.

Another key point: energy is something you can never destroy, because it is transferable.

Therefore, what you do now echoes on into your next life or even into your near future. Taking account of this, it’s important to realize that everything in this world is energy, which is governed by the Universal law. Moreover, like attracts like, which means that you attract what you feel and what you are.

Following this, it can be said that the world is made up of incarnated souls and disembodied spirits. This way, disembodied and suffering spirits, which couldn’t evolve and reach higher dimensions, feel attraction towards similar thoughts to theirs. And there are those which even last here on Earth in quest for vengeance. This proves that there is interconnection between the physical and the spiritual world. So, our existence here is to uplift the world.

What Is The Origin Of “Karma”?

Imagine the different existing lives all over the world. All of them deal with a certain kind of circumstance. Just to exemplify, some people are born extremely poor, whereas other people come from stinking rich families. You also see some cases of individuals who are kind-hearted and even having restricted financial resources do whatever it takes to help the sick, the poor and the elderly.

The same way you see people who suffer from extremely violent family members. In other cases you meet people who struggle with chronic diseases since the first day of their lives. Equally, you hear cases of people who are addicted to alcohol, cocaine or any other kind of drug. There are many examples that deserve special mention here, but these ones are enough. Actually, the purpose of such examples is to show you the connection between our past actions and our present life. In a similar way, our present life actions will influence future lifetimes.

Karma is like a sound which reverberates from a solid huge rock.

In simple words, it’s the law of cause and effect. Everything you do has a consequence on your life and on other people’s lives. Furthermore, there is a strong association between karma and rebirth. Once you achieve a higher level of awareness, you let go of the negative aspects of the ego. Hence, you allow yourself to reach higher awakening and enlightenment stages. This is the only path which deviates you from karma. As well as that, you have more self-control and consciousness of your true self.

The cycle of karma continues because people think they know themselves, but in reality, they don’t.

Bearing that in mind, spiritual practice exists, having its origin in India. This can be seen in spiritual traditions like Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikkhism, Taoism and Jainism.

Besides these spiritual traditions, the practice of Yoga gives us liberation, self-fulfilment and a harmonized self. Yoga presents itself with a large variety of poses. Some poses help you build patience, self-confidence, endurance and emotional strength. Other poses focus on mental clarity, wisdom and detachment. In the final analysis, you will see that all the effort is worth it. Not only will you work your body, but you will also improve your mind and soul.

Why Do “good people” Suffer A Lot?

Karma clearly explains inequality and misfortune all over the world. In our programmed minds, we think logically that good people must have blessings and happiness. In actuality, this doesn’t happen. So, they constantly deal with difficult and tragic circumstances. On the other hand, there are bad and insensitive people who have more protection and blessings. It’s a paradox, but it does work this way. Perhaps this may clarify why someone comes alive out of an accident, while other people don’t.

Understanding karma is an opening door for wisdom, clarity and empowerment. What’s more, the Universe is our mirror. To put it another way, we are made from the same material as the Universe . So, it reflects the things we do, for this reason there’s no need to make ourselves victms of the circumstances.

Analysing The Application Of Karma in practice

As soon as you grasp how karma really works, you won’t ever let it take over you any longer. Overthinking and loss of self-control are detrimental to your wellness. Indeed, they affect your whole being, promoting a decrease in your frequency. As a result, you will attract things according to your frequency, as it is entirely connected to your internal condition. Once you realize that, you will sooner start a spiritual practice so as to protect yourself. Then, meditation actively demonstrates it can do wonders on your well-being. A famous quote from scientist Nicholas Tesla says, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration”.

In fact, we must remain vigilant, as thoughts deceive us easily.

So, it’s a hard work, but it pays off.  Undoubtedly, we are architect of our reality. This way, we can either create positive or negative responses for our lives. Then, the best thing we do is avoid judging anything, blaming others or overreacting when things go wrong. Importantly, we must adopt a neutral position, being compassionate and philosophical about what happens to us. Otherwise, we will be creating more bad karma for ourselves. Therefore, peace of mind and silence must be in action in difficult circumstances.

In a similar way, karma can work in our favor when we know how to apply it. Acts of generosity towards other people who need to grow illustrates that. In order to achieve success, we must collaborate for other people’s achievements. Likewise, the path for self-healing is by helping others to heal. In short, the opportunities you create for others will flourish for you, as a reward from the Universe.

The Relation Between Food And Karma

There are many kinds of food which blind us from reality. The food industry and its processed food have a bad influence on us. As well as lacking nutrients, processed food affects our mood, intelligence and mental clarity . Also, foods from animals, including meat, eggs and milk generate bad karma for humanity. The cause of this is the animal suffering before being used as food for human beings. Another interesting fact is that milk is not that good as medicine suggests. It produces mucus in our body, which is unhealhy. A way out from bad karma is adopting a plant-based diet, which is rich in live enzymes. They prevent us against diseases, detoxify our bodies, improve our intuition and mental health, besides giving us better level of consciousness.
