The beauty of failure is its potential to act like fertilizer, extracting all your qualities and inner tools that help you grow

Failure Is Like Fertilizer

Failure is like fertilizer, it helps us grow. However we don’t approve it, it’s on the corner, always waiting to teach us a lesson. Even if we don’t see it as a blessing at first, we must understand that its purpose is to mold us. So, instead of complaining about it, let’s just be grateful for that. It’s true that we feel devastated for a while, but it’s just a matter of time before we throw ourselves into the game again.

Everything in life comprises ups and downs, good and bad. This means that life has its cycle for each one of us. And our interpretation of reality collaborates a great deal for our state of wellness. This way, we share with the Universe our moments of joy as well as our moments of crisis.

Failure Is Like Fertilizer, This Is Part Of The Existing Duality!

Life manifests itself within our reality in different forms. Oftentimes, it shakes us in such a way that it makes us think over and over about the situation.  Most of us, when we are living the best days of our lives, celebrate. However, in the face of any problem, our perception changes, leading us to concentrate on the barriers and obstacles that come up.

Rather than focusing on what we cannot change, we had better move ahead, having the guts to overcome self-limiting beliefs that push us back.

What I mean by this is that victory and failure are nothing more than opposite sides of the same coin. Therefore, they complete each other, as they are not independent and self-sufficient.

If we stop and hear famous or even anonymous people who have succeeded in life, our conclusion won’t be different. Most of them, in their stories, will relate the difficulties they had to face so as to reach the place where they are now. And certainly, they will mention situations such as humiliation, hitting rock bottom, lack of opportunity and people who didn’t support them. Whether we like it or not, these kinds of things inevitably happen. As can be seen, this is life, so making a choice to be happy is much better for us.

Failure Is Like Fertilizer For Those Who Learn How To Evaluate Their Internal Condition

Only by embracing the hurdles and keeping the pace will we be able to advance. Strange as it may appear, each hurdle symbolizes a seed containing its vital component which strengthens our development. This paradox is a pre-condition for us to stabilize our inner selves, keeping them undamaged. Once we are emotionally strong to come up against obstacles, we are ready to thrive irrespective of what happens.

Despite all that, it is convenient to say that obstacles arise not only from the physical world but also from the mental world.

Thought energy rules human behavior and correlates with the spiritual life. Thus, there is no doubt that man’s brain is an intricate machine which needs right commands to work in his favor. Otherwise it can become extremely dangerous revealing itself as his worst enemy acting in silence.

Unlike the heart, the mind is selfish, insensitive, talkative, misjudging and misleading. When it is not aligned with the heart, it generates internal conflicts which are nothing but spiritual warfare which holds us back. Consequently, we end up nurturing feelings of insecurity, fear and doubt which sabotage our inner peace, causing a sense of discomfort. By draining our energy with negative feelings, we easily fall prey to all kinds of failure. In order not to be defeated by our own weakenesses, the first thing we must do is win this internal battle which constantly tries to govern our lives. In this case, meditation, Reiki and Yoga practice are highly recommended.

Given That Failure Is Like Fertilizer, “If There’s A Will, There’s A Way”

Now, making a comparison between us and nature, I can say that we grow and flourish like plants. If we observe them, we will see that they are expansive and have a well-organized structure. Their growth is in all directions which means that their progress is steady and makes a difference in this world. They also have to deal with the existing duality but they are here to stay.

Have you noticed that life always finds a way? Just to remind you, in the middle of asphalt or concrete a plant is born. Nature is superpowerful and so are we. With that in mind, I tell you that the Universe begins inside of us and has no limits. Considering life as an opportunity, it urges us to move and take action. So, let’s start a new path, search for knowledge, explore the unknown, open ourselves to challenges and understand who we truly are.

In the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, he states that we must consider failure as just a temporary defeat.

I believe he is quite right. And adding my personal view to this statement, I can say that failure really throws us off-balance as a way of demanding our attention, upbeat attitude and determination. Because of that, there is no reason for us to feel sorry for ourselves and nourish all the drama. The best we can do is get over the situation and rise like a phoenix from the ashes. All it takes is willpower and self-love.

Despite being unfavourable, failure may awaken a philosophical behavior in us. Hence, it encourages us to question our reality, resulting in a reflective practice of our inner being. In addition to it, it opens a door for knowledge which is the key for the understanding of life. With a new world opening itself to us, we no more get attached only to the intellectual view of things. Although it might seem shocking, we learn to fuse the intellectual with the spiritual worlds.
